Post Larry Gordon Interview
A few local reporters surround a podium that is set up on a stage in the Conference Room at Rebel Pro Headquarters. The reporters are talking to themselves until Chet Whetleson walks up to the microphone, sitting down at a table set aside for all of the Rebel Pro TV personalities. Trickling in over the next few seconds are Jenny Jersey, Rob Martinez, and Corey Taylor.

REPORTER1: Why has this meeting been called?

A voice coming from an open door answers, it is the voice of Owner Larry Gordon.

LARRY GORDON: I can answer that question better than anyone else, because myself and one certain person, not in this room, are the only two that know.

Larry walks up to the podium, a folder held in his right hand as everyone looks at him ready for the news tidbit. A reporter from Wrestle Universe holds up a hand.

LARRY GORDON: Please, no questions until the announcement.

The reporter lowers his hand and Larry clears his throat.

LARRY GORDON: I apologize for not drawing this out, but many arrangements still need to be made for next week, so forgive me for the bluntness.

He opens the folder.

LARRY GORDON: Next week, the name of the show originally set to be Aerial Assualt will now be called Armed Assault and just like I said, it will not be held in either of the Carolinas.

An enthusiastic reporter can't hold his tongue.

REPORTER2: Where then?

Larry chuckles.

LARRY GORDON: The show called Armed Assault will now be held in a camp in Afghanistan.

The crowd is buzzing wildly, as are those sitting at the table next to the podium.

LARRY GORDON: I've been in contact with a friend of mine and as far as the actual site, I cannot disclose that information, but I can say it is a camp in Afghanistan. Troops from all of the branches of the Armed Services there will be present. It will be one of the largest crowds ever assembled for a Rebel Pro event.

REPORTER2: How many people are you expecting?

Larry looks down at the folder.

LARRY GORDON: Around ten thousand soldiers will pack a series of combined tents to watch this event.

Larry holds up a hand forstalling another question.

LARRY GORDON: But do not fear, this show will be broadcast on Rebel-Pro.com and a future taped airing will be broadcast on Durham TV Channel 8.

REPORTER3: Mr. Gordon, how will Rebel Pro afford such a show?

LARRY GORDON: What is there to afford? I'm paying for the salaries of the wrestlers, an airplane is provided by the Army to take us to this undisclosed base, all provisions are being provided as well.

REPORTER4: Mr. Gordon, how did this come about?

LARRY GORDON: I have a friend that is a Colonel in the service and he has told me that many soldiers over there from the Carolinas, Georgia, and Tennessee wish to see a Rebel-Pro event to lift the spirits of the soldiers. I listened to his request, mentioned the same concerns with the price of the trip etc and he assured me that every thing will be taken care of.

REPORTER 1: Mr. Gordon, can you tell us any matches to take place at Armed Assault?

Larry smiles, shaking his head, but knowing at least a couple that will take place.

LARRY GORDON: Of course not, but the soldiers will get plenty of hardcore action as each match will involve the wrestler or wrestlers bringing their weapon of choice down to the ring, hence them being armed.

The reporters continue talking as Larry holds up a hand.

LARRY GORDON: Please forgive me, but I've got a ton of things to arrange before we leave on Wednesday morning so please forgive me as I cut this short.

Larry turns from the shouted questions as we fade to black.
