Jon McDaniel: Welcome to Rampage,
everyone! We're gonna get right to the action!
Brian Rentfro: Hey Jon? Why are we wearing
each other's colors tonight!?
Jon McDaniel: I don't know, blame
wardrobe!
Brian Rentfro: I will. I was
wondering if it had to do with you getting fired on Chaos!
Jon McDaniel: Don't go there! Hey,
something's happening backstage before our first match!
Backstage, Scottie Snow and King Agony are seen talking. The camera can't
pick up what they're saying, but we do see Snow hand King Agony a large wad of
cash. The two men shake hands and walk away in opposite directions.
Jon McDaniel: What the hell was that all about?
Brian Rentfro: It looks like Scottie Snow was
stacking the deck against Moke Doshky!
Project
X vs Nightmare
DING DING
Eric Emerson:
"The following match is set for one fall.Introducing first, from Parts
Unknown weighing 352 pounds and standing an even 7 feet.... Project X!"
The house lights drop and are taken over by the illumination of red strobe
lights that dance about the PWA ramp. "Hysteria" by Muse hits the PA
system as a bright white light blasts out from the back, against this light the
outline of Project X can be made as he jogs on the spot, preparing
himself for the task ahead. When the music reaches it's peak, he bursts forth in
a rush of energy and launches his chokeslamming arm up into the air as a jet of
pyro launches up behind him. He then makes his way to the ring with a purposeful
walk.
The house lights dim as smoke begins to boil up from the entranceway.
Eric Emerson:
Introducing now... standing at 6'9" and weighting in at 280 pounds...
A pulsing beat hits the air as "The Great American Nightmare" by Rob
Zombie begins to play as a group of ravishingly beautiful women in hot pants and
cropped halter tops rise from the smoke, moving in a sensuous provocative manner
to the music. The arena lights begin to strobe in synchronicity to the music as
the opening guitar riff hits its crescendo, the huge monitors flashing in
counterpoint.

~Step right up and feel the fire~
~Hardcore love of the never dead~
Eric Emerson:
He hails from Los Angeles, California... he is Jonathon Wehali... he is...
Spotlights pan through the stadium, scanning through the air. Suddenly the
entrance explodes with a spike of red pyros as the monitors begin showing
highlights from Nightmare's previous matches. Icons and champions go down to his
kicks and strikes. Superstars and legends tap out to his submission holds. One
after another faces famous, infamous, and unknown are shown, each being driven
into the canvas headfirst. The footage then burns away to a single word
suspended
in darkness: NIGHTMARE. It then shatters, the monitor going black.

Eric Emerson:
NIGHTMARE!!!
As a shower of red pyros rains down upon the stage, Nightmare steps through the
entrance. Red war paint marks his face.
~Yeah, motherfucker~
~Yeah, who do you love~
~Yeah, motherfucker~
~Who do you love, yeah~
Nightmare scans the crowd like a general surveying his troops. His gaze then
settles upon the ring. Making his way forward he slaps hands with the fans.
Trailing behind Nightmare are his manager Akira and his bodyguard Dhamballa.
~Black boots stomp and penetrate, yeah~
~Lust and death gone in your head~
~Rat pack mind degenerated~
~Thirteen ghosts sing the body red~
Arriving at ringside, Nightmare selects a lovely young woman out of the crowd,
placing his signature Gargoyle sunglasses upon her head then posing with the
fans before turning to once again view the ring.

~Call me anything you need~
Once at ringside Nightmare springs onto the ring apron, grabs the top rope, and
flips over the top.

~Call me the American dream~

Nightmare walks to the center of the ring and pumps his fist into the air. The
four corner posts of the ring erupt into an explosion of red pyros as the
song fades out, the stage once again in darkness as the dancing girls return to
the back.
~Yeah, motherfucker~
~Yeah, who do you love~
~Yeah, motherfucker~
~Who do you love, yeah~
Nightmare takes his place in his corner to await the beginning of the match as
Akira and Dhamballa take their stations outside the ring.
DING! DING! DING!
McDaniel:
"Ladies and Gentlemen, PWA-ites, this match promises to be a fight to the
finish."
Rentfro:
"Sure does John, both veterans of the sport and PX has something to prove
here; Nightmare determined to not let him prove it either."
The two circle each other for a moment before heading towards each other; PX
strikes first with a huge meaty right hand to the face of Nightmare, catching
him off-guard. PX pulls Nightmare into a short armed clothesline sending one
half of the PWA tag champs to the mat in a heap. PX stands over the fallen
competitor and delivers a big boot scrape to the forehead of Nightmare, quickly
followed by a massive boot stomp to the scraped forehead. The monster bends down
and picks up Nightmare and delivers such a vicious body slam that the ring
shakes with the impact. He turns to geer at the crowd, pointing at Nightmare who
lays on the mat.
McDaniel:
"PX in firm control here Brian."
Rentfro:
"It has been all PX so far in this matchup."
Nightmare is up to his hands and knees and seeing that PX has his back turned,
dives with a shoulder block to the back of PX's knees. Noticing the big man
doesn't go down, Nightmare hits the ropes deliving a running clothesline that
almost topples the bigger wrestler. PX is stumbling back and Nightmare hits the
ropes again with yet another clothesline, followed up by right hands that have
the desired effect as PX hits the mat. Nightmarejumps up and delivers a forearm
drop to the throat of PX, trying to drive the wind out of PX's sail. Nightmare
goes for the cover but only gets a one count as PX tosses Nightmare bodily
across the ring.
Rentfro:
"PX kicks out with authority there."
McDaniel:
"It is a wonder Nightmare is still in the ring."
Nightmare lands and is up to his feet fast, charging at the rising PX aiming for
a clothesline. He connects with the clothesline, but PX just laughs and shakes
his head in denial. Nightmare goes to trade right and lefts with PX, but an eye
gouge from PX stops the attempt. Nightmare bends over grabbing at his eyes as PX
walks over and lifts him up in a over the head suplex.
McDaniel:
"I think Nightmare's feet touched the lights."
Rentfro:
"Don't be stupid. He was a good 3 inches away from the lights."
PX falls on Nightmare.
one... two- Nightmare kicks out before the count of three. PX hits the ropes
delivering a leg drop across the throat of Nightmare; he goes for the cover
again.
one... two...- Nightmare gets a shoulder up just in time. PX takes a look at the
referee before hitting the ropes for a second time and landing on top of
Nightmare with a body splash; he goes for the cover.
one... two...- Nightmare kicks out again and PX is pissed.
McDaniel:
"PX taking his mind off the match and staring down the referee."
Rentfro:
"Not a smart idea to not pay attention to Nightmare."
McDaniel:
"You didn't pass English class did you?"
Rentfro:
"No, why?"
McDaniel:
"Just wondering."
PX lifts Nightmare back up to his feet and right into a gorilla press position;
he taunts the crowd and drops Nightmare across his knee face down. PX again goes
for the count.
one... two...- Nightmare rolls his shoulder up, stopping the ref's count before
the third slap of the mat. PX is livid and chases the ref into the corner
yelling obscenities at him. Meanwhile, Nightmare has regained his feet, having
rolled slightly missing the full impact of the drop onto PX's outstretched knee.
Seeing his opponent engaged with the ref, Nightmare runs with a dropkick to the
back of PX, who's head hits the metal ringpost. The ref saw the move coming and
ducked just in time to miss PX squishing him in the corner. PX turns glaring at
Nightmare, blood running out from under the mask; they charge at each other.
Nightmare drops to the mat with a drop toe hold and PX's face hits the canvas.
McDaniel:
"PX is not a happy camper Brian."
Rentfro:
"No John, I imagine not."
Nightmare is quickly to the shoulder of PX with a crippler crossface; PX powers
up off the mat and Nightmare is dangling from his shoulder. Nightmare hangs on
and kicks off the ropes with a bulldog to PX who again hits the mat face first.
Nightmare is quickly back on the wearing down tactic with another crippler
crossface to PX. PX first reaches one knee, then his second; Nightmare hanging
on still with leverage on the shoulder. PX gains his feet and delivers a
sidewalk slam to Nightmare who hits the mat, winded. Shaking his head and
rolling his shoulder, PX picks up the winded Nightmare by his head and body
slams him to the mat. Going for power moves, PX picks him up again this time
holding him high over head with a gorilla press.
Rentfro:
"PX going for total power moves in this match."
McDaniel:
"So far, it has really been back and forth, neither man getting the
advantage for long."
PX tosses Nightmare higher into the air and drops to a knee; Nightmare's gut
drapes across the outstretched knee of PX. PX stands up and so does Nightmare,
Nightmare is grinning and delivers a dropkick to the gut of PX.
Rentfro:
"Twice PX has tried that move... twice it has failed."
McDaniel:
"Nightmare is a veteran of wrestling and knows how to avoid some high
impact moves."
PX doubles over right into a DDT by Nightmare; who is back up delivering an
elbow drop to the back of PX's neck. Nightmare goes back to the crippler
crossface, trying to wear PX down, but he is too near the ropes and the hold is
broken. Nightmare backs off slightly as PX gets back to his feet.
Nightmare goes in for more punishment, but the huge hand of PX wraps around his
throat. The muffled laughter of PX is heard through the mask as he lifts
Nightmare into the air, but he is kicked in the gut and Nightmare lands on his
feet, grabbing his throat.
McDaniel:
"Requiem for the Fallen!"
Rentfro:
"How did he hit it on PX?"
Nightmare goes for the pin.
one... two... three
DING! DING! DING!
Eric Emerson:
"Winner of the match.... Nightmare!"
McDaniel:
And Nightmare secures a solid victory over the former World Champion.
Rentfro:
PX seemed off his game tonight, I bet you his mind is all on that hot Sandra!
McDaniel:
Don’t go there! Let’s move on,
shall we?
Moke
Doshky vs. Scottie "The Panther" Snow
Eric Emerson: The following match is for one fall.
Introducing first, from Memphis, Tennessee...Scottie "The Panther"
Snow!
The familiar intro of the Pink Panther theme starts to play as the arena
lights dim slightly. Scottie “The Panther” Snow runs out to the top of the
entrance ramp, does a bad kung fu pose, then high tails it to the ring.
Eric Emerson: And his opponent...from Bonn,
Germany...Moke Doshky!
The arena lights turn red as Rammstein's "Amerika" plays over the
PA. Fantastic Andy Stricklin comes out onto the entrance ramp in his usual
garish attire. As the music picks up, he motions to the entry-way and "The
World's Strongest Man" Moke Doshky comes out. Stricklin leads Doshky to the
ring, holding the ropes for Doshky, which Moke ignores, stepping over the top
rope and into the ring.
Jon McDaniel: The two men are facing each other in
the middle of the ring. This isn't going to go well for Scottie Snow.
Brian Rentfro: Well, it can't be any worse than
getting flung around in the locker room in front of half the roster.
Jon McDaneil: But this is getting flung around in
front of the whole world. How is this any better?
Brian Rentfro: Cause he's getting paid for this
one, Jon.
The bell rings and Doshky charges at Snow, looking to make short work of him.
Snow ducks under his legs and rebounds off the ropes, running full charge into
Doshky with a shoulder block. Snow bounces off the unphased Doshky and flies
backwards. Snow comes off the ropes again and tries a clothesline without any
more luck. Doshky makes a big show of yawning and checking his fingernails while
Snow tries for a third time to take the big man down. Snow grabs ahold of one of
Doshky tree trunk-like legs and tries with all his might to move it, but the big
German doesn't budge.
Jon McDaniel: Uh-oh, here comes the cavalry!
Brian Rentfro: Looks like that money Scottie gave
King Agony is about to bear interest!
King Agony runs down the ramp with a chair in hand and slides into the ring.
Snow is still holding on to Doshky's leg, even as Doshky walks towards King
Agony. King Agony raises the chair, gulps, then takes a hard swing, cracking
Scottie Snow right in the back. The referee calls for the bell as King Agony
quickly slides out of the ring and runs up the ramp.
Jon McDaniel: Why did King Agony just attack Scottie
Snow?
Brian Rentfro: I think I've got an idea, Jon. But
why don't I let Eric Emerson tell you?
Eric Emerson: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of
this match by disqualification...Scottie "The Panther" Snow!
Scott
Nash Strader vs. Chamelion
The match began equally between the two combatants,
each showing off their skills and personal tricks to counter the other in a
grueling match that lasted nearly 20 full minutes. The end came when Project X
sauntered out, looking half drunk, making comments about Chamelion’s wife, and
distracting Chamelion who was against the ropes shouting out at Project X.
The crowd went wild when Sandra ran down to the ring and spun PX and
began brawling with him. Due to
PX’s apparent drunk nature, and desire for Sandra, he didn’t much fight back
and took the lumps she dished out. Enraged,
Chamelion tried to exit the ring, but Strader pulled him back in and went for
his finisher. Trapped, but still
desperate to help his wife, Chamelion slammed his arm up between Strader’s
legs, hitting a low blow and getting himself disqualified.
As Strader fell, Chamelion turned and booked it out of the ring and up
the ramp; to assist his wife and deal more damage to Project X.
Winner: Scott Nash Strader by DQ
Jethro
Hayes vs. Psycho Sandra
Jethro Hayes came to the ring first, and waited as
Sandra’s music played, but she did not come to the ring.
Everyone assumed that due to the actions that took place a few minutes
prior, that she would obviously not be attending to her match duties.
After a ten count, the ref awarded the match to Jethro Hayes.
Winner: Jethro Hayes by count out.
After
the match, the following appeared on the ADCtron, causing the arena to murmur in
question.
Rentfro:
Weird, weird evening we’ve had tonight.
McDaniel:
It gets weirder, too. We’ve been told that this next match is going to be so
intense, they don’t even want us commenting on it.
So, our work tonight is done everyone; sit back and enjoy the action as
Jamie Flynn does battle with Riona Langly. Good night.
Riona Langly vs. Jamie Flynn
Eric Emerson:
"The following contest is a non-title contest scheduled for one-fall, with
a 60 minute time limit! As agreed to by both competitors before the match,
there shall be NO COUNTOUTS."
A soft pinging noise fills the speakers, moving across the arena as the
lights flicker along with it. As the pinging comes to a stop, the lights in the
arena shut off completely, and orchestral intro to "Planet Hell" by
Nightwish begins. The crowd doesn't really know what to think as images of
angels and death flash across the screen, superimposed with flashes of ring
action. The lights begin to flicker along with the beat of the drums. And
without a warning, the music stops and a massive explosion of red pyro goes off
on both sides of the entrance ramp as the the guitars kick in most mightily, the
lights coming back on with a fury. Blue lasers fly about the arena as Marco
Hietala begins singing.

As
Tajra's pace and the music calm down considerably, a spotlight bursts out from
in front of the curtain as a figure slowly makes its way out in front of it,
head tilted down. The figure stops just in front of the light, head tilted down.
Her long, black hair flows over her shoulders, bangs at the front hiding her
face as she silohettes herself on the light.
Eric
Emerson: "Introducing first, she stands 5 feet, 9 inches and weighed
in this morning at 140 pounds..."

The
woman slowly lifts her head up, hair hanging down over her face and obscuring
most of it. Finally, as the second of the song begins, she throws her arms out
to the side in a crucifix pose and flicks her head back, her hair flying back
over her shoulders and revealing her face. A huge pop occurs as a stream
of silver sparks fall from the screen above her, the light behind her blacking
out. She ignores any sort of minor pain that the sparks would be causing
her as three silver fireworks shoot off from the top of the tron to fly off and
hit sets above the ring, causing minor explosions and the lasers to switch back
to blue.

Riona
drops her pose and paces each side of the entrance ramp, mentally preparing
herself for the match as she loosens her muscles up a bit with a little bounce.
Eric Emerson:
"She currently resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is a former 2
time PWA Grizzly Beer Champion..."

Riona
returns to the middle of the entranceway and begins to make her way down the
ramp as silver sparks suddenly fly up from either side of the entrance ramp to
shower down over her, creating a tunnel of sorts due to the arching shape.
Riona's typical neutral gaze not showing much of her thoughts towards the crowd.
The arching shape keeps her from specifically reaching out for high fives,
but she doesn't bother to stop the few pats on the back she gets through the
tunnel of sparks. Riona stops at the bottom of the ramp as the sparks finally
dissipate, looking up into the ring for a few moments before walking over to and
up the stairs. She quickly climbs up to the top turnbuckle and snaps off a
crucifix pose as silver pyro shoots up from the other three turnbuckles with a
loud pop as soon as the chorus begins.
Eric Emerson:
"RIOOOONA... LANGLLLYYYY!!"

holds the pose there while the chorus goes on, the lasers finally ending.
Finally, Riona lowers her arms and hops down into to her corner, doing some last
minute stretches and getting ready for the match as the
house lights dim, the image of a red ouroboros flashing on the monitor...
Eric Emerson:
"Introducing her opponent, from Seattle, Washington..."
Amidst
the cheering, "The Pot" subtly begins to play over the arena.

Eric Emerson:
"Weighing in at two hundred and five pounds..."
As
the sounds of Tool kick up and the bass begins to resonate, Jamie Flynn appears
at the top of the ramp to the ovation of his fans. Wearing his trademark
Aviators and a black hoodie, he raises his arm to them and begins his walk to
the ring.

Eric Emerson:
"He is the PWA Intercontinental champion... JAMIE FLYNN!!"
He
slides under the bottom rope and rolls into the ring. He walks briskly to a
corner and hops up, throwing his Intercontinental Title high into the air with
one arm and soaking in a few more moments of the crowds' admiration.

Removing
his shades and sweater, he hands them off - along with the IC title - to an
official outside the ring and moves to his corner, where he stretches out a few
last-minute kinks with a smirk on his face as he sees Riona doing the same.
Jamie casually points to his right forearm, and Riona returns the favor by
giving him the bird. Flynn merely laughs off Riona's attitude and waits
for the bell...
* * * DING DING DING * * *
Riona and Jamie
stop their stretching and move to the center of the ring, and immediately they
initiate a collar and elbow lockup. Riona is giving up about 5 inches
and 60 pounds to Jamie, which is better odds than she is used to, but that and
Riona's still tender arm are enough for Flynn to push Riona back to the ropes,
where John Martes, the official for this match, gets in between the two and
seperates them. Jamie uses this small moment of break to snap off one of
Riona's crucifix poses, which infuriates Riona to the point of rushing past
Martes and spearing Jamie to the mat, slamming him with a series of nasty
right hands. The Intercontinental Champion takes the blows, but quickly
rolls the both of them over, with Jamie now on top, and he begins to show
Riona how's it done by sending several right hands of his own at the former
Grizzly Beer Champion. Tiring of the fist fighting early, Jamie stands
up and helps Riona to her feet with a yank, sending her right into the ropes
with an Irish whip. Jamie jumps up for a hurricanrana, but Riona grasps
the top rope and stops her momentum, causing Jamie to fall flat on his back.
Riona swiftly pounces the fallen champion, locking on a side headlock as
soon as Jamie rolls onto his stomach to get to his feet. Riona's form is
perfect, but her momentum and how early it is in the match is against her as
Jamie gets to his feet, even with Riona latching onto that move. Flynn
powers out of the move, and Riona spins around, slamming a spinning elbow into
Flynn's skull. Jamie staggers backwards slightly from the blow, but
retaliates with a roundhouse kick using the momentum of the elbow to give it
fluidity and sending Riona slumping to a knee. Flynn reaches down and
latches on a side-headlock of his own on Riona as the fans cheer for the quick
action and stiffness so far in the match.
Riona quickly
gets back to her feet and shoves at Flynn, hoping to push him towards the
ropes, but Flynn holds on and brings both of them back down to the mat. Grunting
a bit, Riona tries a different tactic, pushing up Jamie's arms as she gets
back to her feet. Jamie fights a bit to keep it alive, but Riona is able
to spin out of the hold and immediately goes on the offensive by slamming a
knee right into Flynn's midsection. Jamie drops to a knee, and Riona
slaps on a front-facelock. Trying to escape quickly, Jamie starts to
rock back and forth to weaken Riona's grip on him, but Riona smacks him in the
back with a couple of clubbing forearms to keep him silent. Taking her
now free arm, she grabs Jamie's left arm and twists it behind his back in a
hammerlock before dropping right down to the mat in a hammerlock DDT. Releasing
the front-facelock, but keeping the hammerlock applied, Riona spins around to
Jamie's back and wrenches the arm as far back as she can possibly wrench it,
almost touching the back of Jamie's head. Riona's eyes are steeled with
determination as she tries to even up the score between them, but her hold on
Jamie doesn't last as the champion gets some strength back in his arm and
flings Langly off of his back before getting to his knees. Pressing her
advantage, Riona rushes forward to deliver one of her usual stiff knees to the
face, but Jamie catches her offguard and launches forward, taking out the
technician with a favorite move of hers, the chop block. Riona
faceplants into the mat and Flynn shakes out his arm before both wrestlers
make it back to their feet. Circling the center of the ring, both
wrestlers don't remain idle for very long as they rush each other, with a
jumping knee meeting a charging elbow! Both wrestlers stumble backwards
from this exchange, but Jamie takes less of the move thanks to his reach
advantage and charges forward, ramming the lighter woman in the stomach with a
shoulder and slamming her back into the corner hard.
Riona groans from
the impact, but Jamie doesn't give her much time to complain as he starts to
unload on her face with a series of stiff, painful elbows. Through the
pain, Riona regains her wits and drops down to her bottom, quickly rolling out
of the corner and to her feet in a bit of a daze. Flynn follows her out
of the corner and continues to play Riona's game against her as he screams a
stiff knife-edge chop right across her chest that can be heard in the
upper-reaches of the arena. Feeling the sting both metaphorically and
physically, Riona lashes right back with a series of rage-filled knife-edge
chops that sends the Intercontinental Champion reeling backwards. Taking
ahold of Flynn's hand, Riona makes an attempt at an Irish whip, but Jamie
reverses it and sends Riona into the ropes instead. Jamie attempts an
arm drag, but Riona rolls through the move unharmed, springboarding off the
middle rope and hitting a perfect moonsault, catching Jamie's head on the way
down in a reverse front facelock. Sensing the DDT to come, Jamie quickly
spins out of the move, going behind Riona and latching on a waistlock. Jamie
makes an attempt at a German Suplex, but Riona locks her legs with his and
blocks the move before grabbing Jamie by the head and pulling him down for an
attempted stunner. Flynn knows this is coming however, and lifts Riona
up to throw her off of him, but Riona flips out behind Flynn and shoves him
forward into the ropes. Jamie instinctively grabs the front rope, giving
him enough leverage that when Riona tries to use the momentum from the ropes
to pull him into a roll-up, Jamie is instead able to push Riona away with an
elbow to the breasts. Riona recoils in pain, as Jamie turns around and
sends another nasty roundhouse kick right at Riona's right shoulder.
Riona falls to
one knee, but manages to recover quickly enough to catch Flynn's attempt at a
stiff kick to the face that would have knocked her loopy. Riona quickly
Dragon screws Jamie to the mat and rolls over, grabbing his left arm once more
into a Fujiwara armbar. Yanking that arm back as far as possible, Langly
screams for Jamie to give up, but the Intercontinental Champion doesn't
respond as he reaches out to try and grab the bottom rope. He's a little
bit short, so he starts to crawl his way over, even with Riona on part of his
back. Seeing that her momentary advantage was about to slip away, Riona
quickly stands up and gives Jamie a stiff kick to the kidneys as he slowly
gets to his knees. Jamie rolls over to the ropes, and gets to a vertical
base as Martes holds Riona back while Jamie's in the ropes. Seeing Riona
slightly distracted by giving Martes a bit of an earful, Jamie explodes out of
the ropes to tackle Riona to the mat, but she surprises him by leaping high
enough to go right over his head as he passes. Riona makes an attempt at
the Reality Check as he turns around, but Jamie catches her foot and shoves it
back down to the ground before attempting another roundhouse at Riona's head,
which she ducks. Riona fires back with a low sweep, but Jamie jumps
right over that and then the two both go for a stiff kick to the side of the
ribs, which collides in the middle! Both stagger a bit from going for
the same move, but they recover in enough time to both go for identical
elbows. Kick after kick, elbow after elbow, the two of them consistantly
throw the same moves at each other as if they've been in the ring with each
other many, many, many times before, which is the case. Finally, the
stalemate concludes when Riona throws a kick as Jamie's side, only for the
Intercontinental Champion to catch her foot and slam his elbow straight down
onto her knee.
Riona stumbles a
bit before falling to the mat as Jamie lets go of her. Getting back to
her feet, and hobbling a bit from the immediate pain, Riona immediately goes
for another lockup, which Jamie complies to. The effects of her injured
leg are seen as Riona seems to buckle under Jamie's pressure, but Riona
quickly turns the tide in her favor with a sharp kick, using her good leg,
right to Jamie's knee. The pain causes Jamie to break his concentration,
and this is all Riona needs as she grabs Jamie into another headlock. Flynn
attempts to power his way out of the hold, and Riona simply spins around him,
turning it into a wristlock along the way. Jamie tries to elbow out of
it, but Riona's just a little bit quicker as she releases the hold, allowing
Jamie's momentum to spin him around before she puts him right into the mat
with a bridging Northern Lights suplex! Martes dives down to make the
first count of the match, but the champion kicks out at 2. Both
wrestlers quickly make it back to their feet, and Riona continues to press her
advantage as she screams another chop across Jamie's chest. Jamie
stumbles a bit, and sensing blood in the water, Riona continues to press Jamie
into a corner with chop after stinging chop. Just as he almost gets
backed into the one of the corners, Jamie suddenly retaliates, grabbing
Riona's chopping arm and slamming her into the corner chest first. Riona
staggers backwards from the blow, and Flynn shows her no respite as he grabs
her around the waist and flings her backwards in a German Suplex that she
nearly lands on her head for! Riona falls onto the mat facefirst and
Jamie takes a small moment to breath as the match passes 10 minutes.
Jamie starts to
circle the former GB Champion as she slowly starts to get back to her knees.
Sensing a chance to really do some damage, Jamie rushes in and snaps off
a kick to Riona's stomach that nearly sends her airborne. Riona
gasps as she makes an attempt to get her breath back, but Jamie refuses to let
that happen as he places his knees on Riona's back and crosses her legs.
The crowd starts to jeer a bit as they recognize the move as Riona's own
Death Bed submission hold, but can do nothing but watch as Flynn leans
backwards and lifts Riona right into the hold. Riona screams various
obscenities at Jamie as he wrenches the hold, twisting her weakened leg as
well as working over her back. However, Riona is a ring general through
and through and she reaches out, just barely grabbing the near middle
rope to get Jamie to break the hold. 1...2...3...4...Martest tells Flynn to
break the hold, and he does with a bit of reclutance prior to laying a
couple of stomps into the small of Riona's back. Riona seems to already be
feeling the effects of the work as she holds her back, which Jamie just
continues working on at his own pace as he kneels down and pulls Riona into a
Reverse Bear Hug. The former Celestial Trigger doesn't seem to be effected by
the hold that much, as she taunts Jamie, telling him "So, I see you DO
want me after all!". Jamie doesn't respond, he just squeezes even
tighter, only for Riona to roll backwards onto Flynn which makes his shoulders
hit the mat, 1...2...Flynn releases the hold and kicks out. Both individuals
are up to their feet in a hurry after this, and Flynn beats Riona to the punch
this time by laying into her with a nasty elbow to the face before grabbing
Riona in another headlock. Riona has the presence of mind to push the
pair into the ropes, but Flynn overpowers her and keeps her in the middle of
the ring. Riona promptly tries another strategy and hiptosses Jamie, to
his surprise, and then quickly grabs her own headlock on the mat, which barely
gets a 1 count.
Both
competitors make it back to their feet, and quickly lock up in another collar
and elbow tie-up, shoving each other around the ring as they continue to throw
out taunts and swears to each other. Finally, Jamie's height, weight,
and strength advantage starts to wear down on Riona and her weakened back, as
she buckles to a knee. Continuing to apply the pressure to his opponent,
Jamie is completely thrown for a loop as Riona suddenly breaks the hold and
rises as Jamie stumbles forward, slamming a knee sharply into his gut. Jamie
drops to all fours, and Riona springs to action, dropping to the mat as well
and slamming a knee right into the top of Jamie's head! She tries to go
for another, but the IC Champion slides out of the hold and to his feet before
giving Riona a knee to the face of his own. Riona staggers ever so
slightly from the attack, but manages to get to her feet, but Jamie is ready
for her as he gives her a quick knee to the gut before pulling her into a
standing head-scissors. Jamie goes to butterfly her arms, but Riona
drops to a knee to break the hold, before rising and lifting Jamie onto her
shoulders. Feeling Jamie already starting to slip out of her grasp, she
barely is able to toss Jamie over her head as she drops to her knees, which
drive sharply into Jamie's gut as he falls. Flynn gets the wind knocked
right out of him and rolls onto his stomach, and Riona quickly crawls over,
not going for the cover as most would expect, but instead choosing to get a
mount over Jamie's back before she rains down a series of stiff punches right
against Jamie's head. While these punches hurt tremendously for Flynn,
simple physics are in Jamie's favor as he's able to roll over, dropping Riona
to the mat before spinning around and slamming a couple of punches of his own
into Riona's skull. Finally, John Martes steps in, pulling the two apart
before the closed fists become more of a problem between these two.
Riona
manages to shakily make it back to a vertical base, but she doesn't stay there
for too long as Jamie rushes past Martes and slams his shoulder into Riona's
stomach before sending her into the corner. Riona gasps a bit from the
impact, and Jamie wastes no motion as he leans back down and rams Riona again.
Slumping forward in the corner, Riona looks to be a bit out of it, but
Jamie brings her back into the world by pushing her into the corner and giving
her a taste of her own medicine as he screams off a wicked knife-edge chop
right into her chest. While the move does reverberate throughout the
arena, it doesn't have the effect Jamie wanted, as Riona suddenly screams and
reaches out, throwing Jamie harshly into the corner before she turns his chest
into raw meet with one of her usual wicked chops. Riona's eyes look like
she's the devil as she refuses to let the pain in, throwing 2 more chops into
the same part of Jamie's chest before she rams another knee right into his
sternum. Jamie leans over from the sheer momentum of the attack, and
Riona capitalizes by grabbing yanking his head into a front facelock and
pulling him out of the corner. She swings her arm out, and twists,
making an attempt at the Bomb Dropper, but Flynn has the move well-scouted as
he pushes Riona as she turns, breaking the hold before he slides out of the
ring to catch his breath. Riona has no intentions of letting Jamie go as
she rushes towards Jamie and slams her Reeboks right into the back of his head
with a well-placed and nasty baseball slide that sends Jamie stumbling into
the barricade. Waiting for her opponent to make it to his feet, Riona
suddenly runs the ring again and jumps through the ropes, hitting an ELBOW
SUICIDA THAT SENDS BOTH INTO THE CROWD!
Security
is quick to take control of the situation as they evac the fans from the area
around the two wrestlers, whose heads collided with Riona's assault. Riona
is the first to recover as she grabs Jamie by his hair and pulls him back
towards the ring. She makes it about halfway before Jamie breaks the
hold and knocks Riona back with a deperation roundhouse kick to her shoulder
once again. Langly stumbles back a bit from the kick, giving Jamie a
chance to catch his bearings and slide into the ring. However, he
doesn't stay in there very long as Riona grabs ahold of his foot and yanks him
back outside, wanting to deliver some more punishment. As soon as
Jamie's feet touch the floor mats, Riona starts to hammer him back towards the
announce tables with a set of stiff elbows to the face. With his back to
the Spanish tables, Flynn finally gets a bit of offense in on Riona's barrage
as he blocks one of her elbow strikes and slams her head right into the
announce table. Jamie pulls her head back to do it again, but Riona
elbows her way out of his grasp and spins around, giving Jamie another stiff
elbow to the gut before she yanks him by the hair and throws him back-first
right into the announce table. Flynn slumps into a seated position, and
Riona wastes no time making him pay as she grabs ahold of the edge of the
table and smashes a knee right into the side of Jamie's skull. She hits
another of these stiff knees, and then, seeing her opponent looking a little
dazed, she reaches over and grabs a water pitcher meant for the Spanish
Announce team, quickly tossing it's contents right into Jamie's face, soaking
and waking him up. Finally, Riona grabs Jamie's hair once again
and drags him towards the ring, throwing him in before sliding back in
herself.
Jamie
makes an attempt to get back into his rhythm as he gets to a vertical base,
with Riona stalking him from behind. Sensing danger, he quickly spins
around and lashes out with a roundhouse kick that would have impacted Riona in
the side of the head had she been there, but instead Riona ducks the kick and
catches his leg on her shoulder. Yanking Jamie forward, Riona quickly
locks her hands behind his back and tosses him backwards in a Capture Suplex.
Jamie's legs get under the ropes, so Riona has to pull him out from
underneath before hooking his legs for a cover, 1...2...and Jamie kicks out.
Not being surprised by this, despite the match almost going for 20
minutes now, Riona gets herself back to a vertical base and brings Flynn up
into a standing head scissors. Jamie stuggles a bit in Riona's hold, so she
silences him with a few stiff forearms right to the small of the back. Without
as much stuggling from the IC Champ, Riona hooks Jamie's arms in a butterfly
lock. Unfortunately for Riona, Flynn manages to snap out of his daze and
begins to fight free of Riona's grasp. Jamie stands up after wriggling his
arms free, but the former Grizzly Beer Champion isn't going to let him get
away that easily as she sends another knee right into Jamie's abdomen.
Grabbing onto the near arm of Flynn, Riona whips her opponent across the ring
and waits for him to come back to hit a Snap Powersl-NO! Jamie jumps up at the
last second as he is coming back towards Riona and nails his opponent with a
jumping knee right to the side of Riona's skull!! Riona stumbles
backwards right into the ropes, and Jamie gets back to his feet, rushing
forward and leaping up, hitting another jumping knee that puts Riona down onto
the mat. Jamie pulls Riona away from the ropes and makes a cover
himself, shoving his forearm into Riona's face as he does, but he only gets a
two count for his troubles as Riona kicks out with some authority as we get to
the 20 minute mark.
Both
wrestlers make it back to their feet and look at each other, steel expression
meeting steel expression, before they meet in the middle of the ring once
more. Riona holds up her hands, wanting to go into a knucklelock, and
Jamie agrees with a shrug, grasping them. The fight only lasts for a
moment before Riona breaks the hold and grabs Jamie's arm, twsiting it over
into an armbar. Knowing that she needs to take away Flynn's leverage,
Riona crouches down and pulls Flynn closer to the mat. Jamie holds back
some painful looking feelings before he finally just throws himself over onto
Riona and mounts her, throwing more stiff punches as the two go back into the
MMA style they were working earlier. Riona is able to cover up and block
better, having more time to react this time, even getting a few shots onto
Flynn's face whenever she has the opprotunity to. Flynn makes a small
lapse in his focus as he holds back on a punch, and that's all Riona needs as
she ducks down and grapples Flynn, turning the pair over. With Flynn now
on the bottom, Riona has every opprotunity to just hammer him with some stiff
elbows, but Jamie is able to keep up and block most of them with his forearms.
As a bit of a sign of desperation on Riona's part, she suddenly leans
forward and headbutts Jamie not once, but twice. Flynn is rocked a bit
by the surprise move, but recovers well as he locks Riona in a body scissors
and returns the favor, slamming his face into hers so hard that Riona's
weakened nose busts open. The blood drips down onto Flynn and his first
rection is to escape, which he does as he puts manuevers his knees under Riona
and pushes the girl into the ropes. Flynn gets back to his feet, but he
doesn't stay on them very long as Riona rebounds off the ropes and floors him
with a super stiff lariat before dropping down and locking him once more into
another headlock.
Riona
doesn't hold the headlock for too long, as she stands up and drops a knee onto
Flynn's neck for good measure before lifting the IC Champ up and pulling him
into a front facelock. Jamie quickly gets his bearings about him and
pushes out of the hold, before grabbing Riona's arm and whipping her so hard
into the corner that Jamie even stumbles a bit from the force of the throw.
Riona arches her back immediately as the pain spikes through her back,
but Flynn adds to her pain as he pushes her right back into the corner and
lets loose on her with a series of elbows to the skull that rock the former
champion. Jamie takes a moment, seeing that Riona is dazed from the
barrage, and lifts her up and sits her on the top rope. Stepping back
for some running room, Jamie rushes towards the ropes and springboards off of
them towards Riona, whacking her on the side of the head with a nasty kick
that sends her off the top rope and down to the outside of the ring. Luckily
for her, Riona was able to position herself for probably the best landing
possible. As Riona lies on the ground motionless, Jamie decides to take
this match to the air as he climbs to the top turnbuckle that he just kicked
Riona off of and flies off with a picture perfect Shooting Star Press,
connecting in a textbook fashion. The move takes alot out of Jamie
though, as he rolls off of Riona and gets to his knees, holding his stomach in
pain. Finally, he's able to get to a vertical base and reach down,
grabbing Riona by her long black hair and lifting her up, before placing her
once again in a seated position on the ring apron this time. Jamie
gingerly gets onto the ring apron himself, measuring up Riona for another knee
to the side of the head. He runs forward, looking to deliver a
defeating blow... and Riona rolls off the apron, causing Jamie to stumble a
bit and fall off of the apron, slamming face first into the ring steps. A
trickle of blood starts to flow from his forehead as he lies dazed on the
floor mats.
Riona,
certainly not feeling too hot herself, drags herself back to her feet and
staggers over to her opponent, where she weakly grabs him and throws him right
into the side of the steel steps, dislodging the top set from the bottom.
Jamie still looks dazed as he sits there, with his back to the stairs,
and Riona gets an idea. Walking over to the timekeeper's table, she
grabs a chair, but doesn't fold it, instead setting it up right next to the
ring barrier. She walks back over to Jamie, looking to drag him towards
the chair, but instead gets whacked with a charging elbow as Jamie springs out
of his seated position. Riona staggers backwards from the elbow, her
momentum halted, and Jamie presses the attack, grabbing Riona's arm and
slinging her into the opposite side ring barrier back first. Jamie gets
a wicked idea and grabs Riona, locking his leg with hers before falling
backwards, slamming her back right into the rail with a Russian Legsweep.
The rail pushes back into the crowd as the fans pull back thanks to
security, and Jamie simply stands Riona right back onto her feet and positions
himself once again before ramming Riona back once again into the barrier.
The barrier pushes back once more, and Jamie slowly pulls Langly up
again, looking to go for the move a third time just like he did to Silverback
2 years ago. However, the results of this are different now as Riona is
able to slide out of Jamie's grip on the windup, reversing the hold and
sending Jamie face-first into the floor-mat with a Reverse Russian Legsweep!
Riona rises to her feet first as she goes back to her original plan and
drags Jamie by his hair over to the other side of the ring where the chair was
placed. Getting to the chair, Riona lifts Jamie to his feet and shoves
him down before giving him a couple elbows to the face for him to stay there.
The crowd already begins to chant 'OLE, OLE OLE OLE...' as Riona gets a
little running room and then rushes into Jamie, smacking him right upside the
head with a massive boot to the face that almost sends him into the crowd!
Riona
gets back to her feet and pulls Jamie up to his before finally sliding him
back into the ring. Jamie starts to crawl towards the ropes, trying to
get back to a standing base as Riona slides in after him and grabs his foot.
Getting back to her feet, still holding his, she grins and twirls her
hand a bit, obviously signalling for a figure four leglock. Jamie knows
this too, as he manages to get the strength to push Riona away and into the
corner as she turns. Slowly rising to his feet, and feeling the first
wave of adrenaline, he meets Riona as she dazes out of the corner and wakes
her up with a backhand slap! Riona stumbles, obviously awake now, and
plants her feet before returning the favor with a nasty slap of her own!
Jamie also reels back from the force behind Riona's blow, and
immediately tries to curtail that as he grabs the back of her head and comes
in with a series of vicious forearm shots into the side of her face before
stepping back and swinging his leg up to kick Riona in the chest, doing this a
few times before she falls back into a sitting position against the ropes from
the impact. Jamie pulls Riona back up to her feet, pushing her into the
corner before whipping her across the ring into the opposite one. Shaking
out the effects of all the stiff striking in the match so far, Jamie runs in,
going for a Yakuza Kick to Riona's skull, but Riona ducks right out of the way
and Flynn's leg gets caught over the top rope, getting stuck there. Never
one to let an opprotunity like this pass by, Riona starts to hammer Jamie with
a series of stiff elbows and chops in the back and the back of his neck,
hoping to do some massive damage while she has the chance. Flynn makes
some attempts to pull his leg out, but Riona makes it all the more difficult
as she sends a precise and sharp kick right into the back of his knee,
buckling it and causing tremendous pain to his thigh as it stretches out on
the leg over the rope. Flynn manages to make back to his foot and
slightly turn around, only to come face to face with Riona as she smacks him
hard in the face with another lariat! Flynn stumbles backwards out of
the corner, finally getting his leg out over the ropes as he attempts to keep
his footing. However, he doesn't keep that footing for very long as
Riona quickly runs in and connects with another spinning elbow strike that
staggers Flynn before he drops to the mat.
Riona
drops down to a knee as Jamie tries to recover from Riona's blistering attack,
and adds to the punishment as she slams a Mongolian Chop right into the back
of Jamie's neck. The crowd cringes at the sharp smacking sound heard
from the impact, but Jamie slowly starts to rise and stares Riona down.
Unflustered by her opponent's tenacity, Riona rears back and hits another
Mongolian Chop, but Jamie manages to take the blow and stand back up, getting
right in Riona's face. The crowd cheers from the toughness that these
two wrestlers are showing, but neither of them seem to hear them as they stare
each other down again. Finally, Riona makes the first move as she hits
another big Mongolian Chop, this one making Jamie bend down a bit and place
his hands on his knees, and Riona, sensing a crack in Jamie's resolve, quickly
continues, grabbing Flynn's back and coming in with a vicious knee strike
right into his chest. Flynn visibly gasps at that one, trying to stand up and
ignore it, but goes back down to the slightly bent over position he was in
before, hands on his knees. Riona turns and runs into the ropes, but Flynn
turns as well and catches her with a sudden Mule Kick into her knee, then
turns and nails Riona with another one of those vicious slaps, causing her to
drop to a knee. Trying to regain the advantage and momentum in this
grueling match, Flynn turns and runs to the ropes, coming back with a hard
Clothesline of his own that sends Riona down onto her back hard. Flynn
stares down Riona before running the ropes and slamming into his rival's chest
with a leaping knee-drop. Jamie rolls to his feet and suddenly lurches
over, feeling the effects of a constant 30 minutes of constant action.
Flynn
pushes Riona up into a seated position before shoving his knee into her and
locking his arm around her neck, pulling her back in a Dragon Sleeper. More
pressure gets put onto Riona's back with this variation, wrenching her neck
back with the hold along with curving her spine out. Riona, however, still has
the leverage to try and get out of it, and eagerly does so, wanting to try and
break the hold. Finally, she manages to twist himself to the side off of
Flynn's knee, but Jamie rolls over with her, ending up laying across Riona's
back, quickly locking his legs around one arm and pulling up on the other,
locking in a Rings of Saturn! Riona looks painfully suprised at the
hold, not thinking Jamie would pull something like that out. Meanwhile, Jamie
pulls back further and further on her arm, wrenching it excruciatingly
painfully. Finally, though, Riona manages to slide towards the ropes enough to
barely put a foot on it. Jamie breaks the hold at the count of four from
Martes, and reaches down, picking Riona back up by her hair, only to be
surprised as Riona screams off a stiff open-hand chop right to his chest.
Flynn is a little surprised by this one, but not enough that he can't respond
with an elbow, only to have Riona throw out another chop, these ones seeming
to affect him a little more. The elbows win out, though, as a few more of them
send Riona into the ropes, wrapping her arm around the top one so that she
doesn't slump down to the mat. Riona looks more than a little dazed from all
the elbows, and this allows Flynn to pull her back towards the middle of the
ring in a front facelock. Flynn sets her up for a suplex, but Riona manages to
block it, grabbing Flynn's tights and suddenly lifting him up instead!
Unfortunately for Riona, Jamie manages to float over and land behind her,
grabbing her in a Reverse Waistlock. Langly quickly elbows out of it, however,
running to the ropes, only to come back right into a ROARING ELBOW!
Riona
drops to the mat and Jamie quickly jumps down for a cover... 1...2...kickout!
Signs of fustration are starting to form on Jamie's face as he slaps the
mat a bit after Riona's kickout. As Flynn thinks his possibilities
through and gets back up to a vertical base Riona is still trying to figure
out what millenium she's in at the moment. Riona's contemplations are put to a
sudden halt as Jamie jerks Riona back to her feet with a handful of her black
hair. Riona clears her head a bit from the sharp pain, and instinctively
throws a nasty elbow right to Flynn's face once more. The IC Champion
takes this shot and just shrugs it off since it had little force behind it
before he grabs Riona by the arm and goes to whip her into the far set of
ropes. Langly doesn't budge however as she leans back to hold his ground which
annoys Flynn to a certain degree and he just lets go of her. Stumbling back a
bit from the sudden release, Riona seems a tiny bit surprised at how flustered
Flynn is getting, but it's only a momentary feeling as she is smacked across
the chest with a trio of chops from Jamie. Not about to let Jamie beat
her at her own game, and starting to regain some real semblance of though,
Riona screams at the pain and unleashes a hellacious chop on Jamie's red chest
that manages to actually floor him. Riona grins as Jamie quickly gets
back to his feet, and surprises him as she leaves her feet and hits him with a
picture perfect standing dropkick. Jamie tumbles back to the mat from
this, and rolls away and to his feet, but Riona follows him with a stiff
elbow. Jamie takes the blow, but throws out a stiff one of his own
before grabbing Riona's arm and leading them both back into the middle of the
ring. Riona plants her feet to try and stop Flynn from whipping her into
the ropes again, but her thoughts are wrong as Flynn goes to take Riona's head
off with a BURNING LARIAT! However, Riona suddenly thinks fast and nails
Flynn with another stiff elbow to the forearm to block!
Both
wrestlers fall to the mat, as Jamie holds his right arm in very obvious pain
from the surprise counter. Riona is the first to make it back to her
feet and she sees the major opening that her actions have given her and makes
her way over to Jamie as he gets onto his hands and knees to try and work
through the pain. Riona's not going to let him get the chance to heal
though, as she soccer kicks Jamie's forearm. A hard stomp follows as
Jamie tries to protect his arm, but Riona is having none of that as she yanks
Flynn back up to his feet by the injured right arm. Jamie makes an
attempt to elbow out of it with his left arm, but Riona simply yanks the arm
HARD to drop his resistance before pulling it behind his back in a Hammerlock.
Simple, but effective is the nature of the hold as Riona pulls out her
tactical strengths and applies the hold expertly to inflict more and more
damage on Flynn's arm. Riona pushes them both towards the center of the
ring once more, and Jamie uses the moment to try and elbow out again. However,
Riona avoids the elbow by simply releasing the hold for a brief moment before
grabbing his right arm again and yanking him down onto the mat and into a
Cross Armbreaker! Jamie's cries of agony are music to Riona's ears as
she continues to wrench and apply pressure, ripping at the muscles in Jamie's
right arm try and make him submit. However for her, Jamie Flynn is no
quitter, even in the face of a possible torn muscle, and he begind to inch his
way over to the ropes. Riona tries as she might to force him to quit,
amping up the pressure, but it's not enough for her as Flynn is able to reach
out and JUST BARELY grab the bottom rope with his uninjured left hand.
Riona
stands up, stomping across the side of Flynn's head in frustration before
lifting him up to his feet, only to get her arms knocked away and receive
another elbow to the jaw! Riona staggers back as Jamie shakes his right arm
trying to get a little feeling back into it. Of course, Riona doesn't
take this strike lying down as she rushes back and slams another knee into
Jamie's gut. She quickly spins around Jamie as he doubles over, grabbing
Jamie around the waist and DROPPING HIM ONTO HIS HEAD WITH A SICK GERMAN
SUPLEX! Riona spins around and makes the cover on the folded up Flynn,
but still is only able to get a two count out of him, even after the
head-drop. Now it's Riona's turn to get fustrated as she stands up and
stomps down on Jamie's arm some more before lifting him up and throwing
a few more chops and elbows. Riona knocks Jamie back into the corner with the
assault, then goes to whip him into the opposite one, but Jamie somehow
reverses it and sends Langly into the corner instead, running forward and
nailing a hard Yakuza Kick right into Riona's face. Riona slumps down into a
sitting position in the corner, dazed from the sudden attack as Jamie places
the sole of his boot up against the side of Riona's face and pushes it past
him repeatedly, scraping the bottom of his boot across her cheek. Jamie then
runs across the ring, coming back to hit a RUNNING BOOT SCRAPE! Riona falls
out of the corner onto her stomach, but Jamie doesn't leave her there for long
as he turns her over and picks her right back up. He pulls her right
back to the middle of the ring and quickly jams her into a Standing Head
Scissors before lifting her up for a Powerbomb. However, Jamie's arm is
just too weak to hold Riona up there and he drops her RIGHT ON HER HEAD!
Riona crumbles from the head-drop as the fans cheer, and Jamie crawls
over, making a weak cover... 1... 2... KICKOUT!
Jamie
sits there with a dazed look on his face, holding his arm, in disbelief that
Riona could kick out of that. He gets his wits about himself once again
and grabs Riona's legs, turning her over and pulling her RIGHT INTO THE MERCY
KILLING! Riona wakes up and begins to scream as her back is once again
worked over by the high angle Boston Crab, but she slowly starts to fight her
way over to the ropes. Just as it looks like Riona is going to make it,
through all the pain, Jamie stands up, wrenching further back on the hold and
turning Riona into a nasty contortion looking like the letter C. Riona's
progress is halted from the switch as she cries out in agony from the hold,
but Jamie knows that even through this sort of pain, Riona Langly will never
tap out. Finally, though, the combo of Jamie's weakened arm and
inspiration strikes Riona as she painfully twists around and pulls Flynn down
from behind into a TAZMISSION!!! Jamie frantically flails towards the ropes,
and manages to get to them, forcing Riona to break the choke hold submission.
Both wrestlers slowly roll back to their feet, Riona holding her back
and Jamie his arm, and look at each other and the cheering crowd. They've
been killing each other for 40 minutes now, and most of the crowd is on their
feet at this point, since the tempo has clearly picked up in the last couple
mintues. With an unheard signal, both wrestlers suddenly go for the
attack, with one of Riona's chops meeting one of Flynn's elbows halfway.
Riona steps back holding her hand a bit, and Flynn grabs her by the arm,
flinging her into the ropes. Riona has the presence to duck right under
Jamie's attempt at a roundhouse kick, but as she charges forward to unleash
another round of chops, she runs right into a SLEEPER HOLD! Flynn
quickly pushes Riona down to a seated position, locking in the hold as the
excitement is brought back down with this hold.
Unlike
the many chin and headlocks that have been used between both Riona and Jamie
so far, this move is very effective as Riona's struggling begins to weaken as
she loses oxygen and blood flow. Flynn keeps the move on as tight as he can,
occasionally jerking Langly's head to the side to disorient her. Pretty soon,
the crowd begins to rally, starting up a slow clap for Rio as she reaches a
hand out, clenching and unclenching her fist as she tries to get up the energy
to break the hold. Finally, the former GB Champion starts to make her way up
to her feet, pushing herself slowly up while Jamie forces her to lift up both
their weights. Eventually, Riona makes it to her feet, reaching up to hold
Jamie's head above her own as she drops down for a Jawbreaker! This breaks the
hold, but Flynn quickly recovers and hits a Dropkick into Riona's back to stun
her, before walking around to the front and CHOPPING HER FACE! Riona cries out
and falls back, clutching her face after the unexpected strike, Flynn quickly
following with a pin. 1...2...Riona kicks out, clearing her head enough to do
that. Jamie lifts Riona back to a vertical base, before slinging her
into the ropes. Riona blocks the Irish whip by grabbing onto the top
rope and halting her momentum, but Jamie surprises her as he speeds forward
and sends her right over the top rope with a huge JUMPING KNEE! Riona
falls to the floor again, getting back to her feet somewhat quickly for the
amount of punishment she's taken in the match, but Jamie puts her right back
down again as he springboards off the top rope with an Asai Moonsault! Jamie
however, comes up a bit lame as he rammed his right arm into the floor with a
bad landing.
Fighting
through the pain, Flynn makes it back to his feet first and pulls Riona up to
hers before shoving
her in a bent over position, bringing his leg up and kicking Riona right in
the face! Once, twice, three times he kicks her before turning Riona
into a front facelock. Riona fights the hold, Jamie's arm still weak
after all, but a couple of stiff knees to the midsection silence that
insurrection before he lifts Riona up for a Vertical Suplex and connects!
Not content as Riona arches her back once more in agonizing pain, Flynn
floats over and grabs Riona's right arm, dropping back himself into a
Cross Armbreaker! Riona immediately tries to roll out of the move, but
Flynn just rolls over with her, scissoring the arm with his legs and grabbing
Riona's head, pulling back to lock in a Crippler Crossface! Flynn cranks
up on Riona's neck with the maneuver, but after a few moments and knowing that
he can't win the match on the outside, Flynn just turns the hold over into a
Front Facelock and lifts Riona up to her feet before firing off a hard elbow.
Jamie hits another elbow, then goes to whip Riona into the ringpost, but Riona
reverses it and sends Jamie face-first into the steel instead! Jamie got
lucky that it was the left shoulder that impacted the steel instead of the
right, but Riona quickly chases Flynn down, going for another lariat! Flynn
ducks out of the way, turning as Riona does and jumping up to slam the side of
her head with a huge ENZUIGIRI! Riona falls to her knee as Jamie goes to
finish the job and rushes forward, making mincemeat out of her skull with a
NASTY SHINING WIZARD! Riona plops down to the floor, out cold from the
sick knee strike, and Jamie reaches down and drags her to a standing position
before sliding her back into the ring. Jamie climbs onto the apron and
measures Riona up before slingshotting over the top for a senton splash that
hits nothing but mat as Riona manages to just barely move out of the way!
Riona is still slow to get to her feet, feeling the effects of all these
blows to the head just as Jamie is, but she shakes it off and stalks Jamie as
he's slow to get up, holding out her arm and making the signal for the
DETONATOR!
Riona
pounds the mat and quickly moves behind Jamie as he gets back to his feet a
bit wearily, before rushing in with an attempt to lock in the full nelson!
Unfortunately for Riona, Jamie's done his homework just as much as she
has, as he immediately starts to flair his arms, keeping Riona from being able
to lock the hold in before giving her a stiff elbow to the gut. Riona
would have bent over from the sudden release of her breath, but Jamie grabs
her head and slings her over his shoulder in a quick snapmare takedown before
blistering her back with a nasty kick. This seems to trigger a memory in
Jamie, judging by the reflective look in his face, but the look is gone in a
flash as he screams to Riona "HOW DO YOU LIKE IT NOW" before
pounding Riona wiht another kick at the same location. Riona tries to
get back to her feet, but Jamie grabs ahold of her head and shoves her back
down to a seated position before kicking her again in the injured back. Obviously
remembering what she and Silverback did to him in the Ironman Match 2 years
ago, Flynn shouts at his rival "DOESN'T FEEL VERY GOOD, DOES IT?"
before he kicks her again... and again... and again! The crowd begins to
wince as Jamie loses his cool before their very eyes, sending sharp kick after
sharp kick into Riona's back before he finally ends it with a nasty Buzzsaw
kick to the skull that puts Riona onto the mat. Reaching down, Jamie
grabs Riona by her shirt and yanks back, pulling her right into a half-nelson!
Riona's almost too weak to fight back at this point, but still manages
to break the hold with a well placed elbow to the sternum before pulling
Flynn's arm back into a desperate Hammerlock! Jamie screams as his right
arm is twisted back, but Riona makes the pain worse as she moves around as if
to pull him into a Keylock, but instead plants her foot against his
shoulder and wrenches up on his arm, gaining a big amount of leverage, trying
to tear Flynn's shoulder out of its socket with the extended Hammerlock. Jamie
cries out as Riona attempts to pull up even farther, but her Reebok slips off
Flynn's shoulder, and she has to release the hold to keep her balance.
Flynn
holds his arm as he makes it back to his feet, with Riona letting him back up
as she tries to take a few moments to recover herself. Jamie is the
first one to make a move as he comes forward with a huge elbow right into the
side of Riona's face, but Riona quickly turns knocks Jamie back with one of
her own! Both seem to be tapping the the bottom of their reserves as the
two begin trading forearms for a few moments. Jamie gets the last
word as he rocks Riona with a nasty elbow before he runs back to the
ropes and comes off with a straight kick right to the gut! Riona
stumbles back into the ropes, but manages to catch her bearings and runs back
across the ring and hits a jumping knee to the chest! Flynn stands his
ground, staggering a bit before he
goes back to the ropes and comes back with a LARIAT!!! Because Jamie uses his
left arm for the strike, it doesn't get as much as it should, allowing Riona
to rolls backwards once she hits the ground from the impact, but she keeps
rolling and gets up to her feet, running back to the ropes and coming back
with a Dropkick that knocks Flynn back into the ropes himself. The crowd
stands in awe as these two pull it all out on the line in this match, as Jamie
then comes off the ropes with a BURNING LARIAT!!! Riona backflips from
the move, and STAYS DOWN THIS TIME!. Jamie breathes heavily as he stands
above Riona, the crowd now getting back up and letting out a humongous cheer
for the brutality these wrestlers have shown throughout this entire match.
Jamie sighs as Riona begins to show life, and lifts Langly back up, but Riona
suddenly knocks his arms away and spins around for a Discus Clothesline! FLYNN
STAYS UP! Riona curses a bit and spins around, slamming him again with
another Discus Clothesline, but Jamie still stays up! Increasingly
fustrated with her opponent, Riona moves Jamie again, but he suddenly catches
her with a sudden European Uppercut as she spins around! Flynn
then hits a quick chop before grabbing Riona's head and powering her back into
the ropes with a series of elbows.
Jamie
doesn't stop, just chaining the strikes together, viciously pounding his elbow
right into Riona's temple over and over again, the crowd now counting them
out. "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11,
12...13...14...15...16...17...18...19..." Jamie slows down as he goes on,
using all his energy behind these strikes, finally stepping back after
nineteen. Riona stares blankly from the ropes, but suddenly takes a few
steps forward and turns to stare at Flynn, the crowd in shock as Riona's taken
all of these blows and still comes back for more. Flynn also stares back at
Riona in shock, then suddenly spins around for a ROARING ELBOW!!! Riona goes
down hard, looking unconcious, and Flynn just collapses onto her. 1...2...THR-NO!!!
Somehow, Riona gets a shoulder up off the mat, though it doesn't even look
like she knows where she is right now. Jamie sits up and stares blankly at
Kutterman, unable to believe that that chain of strikes wasn't enough to put
her down, finally just rolling off her and laying still, needing some time to
regain his energy after all that. Jamie finally stands up as Riona
starts to move, rolling to her feet as blood now is flowing down from her
nose. Both wrestlers look like hell, but Jamie looks a bit better as he
grabs Riona and pulls her into a side-headlock once more. Riona punches
Jamie in the side weakly, but breaks the hold as she slips out with a push on
Jamie that sends him into the ropes. The push is too weak for it to
cause Flynn to bounce back, but as he turns around, he comes face first with
another of Riona's mean chops, and even though it's not nearly as strong at
this point in the match, it still has the effect of pushing Jamie right back
into the ropes. Flynn pushes off of the ropes and goes for another
straight kick to the gut, but Riona is able to catch his foot. Riona
pulls Jamie backwards a bit as he hops up and down for a bit to catch his
balance, but Riona kicks his leg out, causing him to fall to the mat before
spinning locking in the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK!
Riona
has the hold locked in dead
center of the middle of the ring, Flynn's arms falling short of grabbing the
ropes as Riona forces Flynn to scream. He has nowhere to go, so he opts
to fight it instead and hits Riona with a nasty slap as she sits up to
increase the pressure! Riona doesn't take this too kindly and slaps
Flynn in retaliation, knocking him back to the mat as Riona continues to work
the pressure on the high-flyer's knees. Fearing that if he doesn't get
out now Riona will punish him until he gives, Flynn starts to get some
momentum, trying to turn Riona over to reverse the pressure. Riona knows
this hold well though, and rocks in the other direction to keep Flynn from
powering them over and putting more pressure on Jamie's knees, causing Jamie
to slump to the mat once again. The crowd is on their feet for both
competitors as the PA announcer makes the announcement that the match has gone
on now for over 50 minutes. The sounds of the crowd manages to wake
Jamie up from his pain daze and he begins to fight, trying to turn Riona over
as she screams "NONONONONO!" over and over again, keeping the
pressure on Flynn, even pounding on his leg in the hold to add more pain and
slow his momentum down. However, that's not really enough to stop Jamie
he manages to roll Riona over and add pressure onto Riona. Riona
immediately breaks the hold and rolls to her feet, slamming a boot down onto
Jamie's right arm once again. Jamie rolls to his feet holding his arm,
but Riona grabs Flynn and pulls him into another side headlock. Riona
wrenches the hold on tight, but her weakened state is her undoing as Jamie
pulls out of the hold rather quickly and rocks Riona with another stiff elbow
before he grabs ahold of her and throws her into the corner so hard she flips
over the top turnbuckle and slides onto the apron! Flynn doesn't even
have time to react as she climbs the turnbuckle and flies off with a high
Cross-Body Block! Riona hooks the leg in the middle of the ring...
1...2...THRE...KICKOUT!
Riona rolls
to her feet in disbelief that she can't put Jamie away, but gets a harsh
wakeup call as she leans over to pick Jamie up and he punches her right in the
face! Riona flails backwards as Jamie rolls to his feet and gives Langly
a knee right to the gut! Jamie grabs a handful of hair, Riona's momentum
completely disappearing as she's rocked with elbow after elbow to the skull.
Finally pushing Riona into the ropes, Flynn grabs her and whips her into
the opposite side. Riona runs back, ducking the attempt at another
roundhouse kick, but suddenly finds herself on Jamie's shoulders as he grabs
her on the return trip with a fireman's carry! Jamie quickly throws
Riona off his shoulders and straight into his knee as he nails her with the GO
2 SLEEP! Riona falls to the mat from the move and Jamie looks down at
her, a small slimmer of respect in his eyes as he tries to regain his breath.
Looking to the nearest turnbuckle, Flynn walks over to the corner and
climbs, perched on the top waiting for Riona to get back to her feet. Riona
gets to her knees, completely unaware of where Jamie is until she suddenly
leaps forwards, crotching Jamie on the top! Riona and Jamie both look
completely spent as Rio climbs out of the ring and starts to climb up the
turnbuckle that Jamie sits atop precariously. Riona climbs up behind
Jamie and the fans come alive as they all begin to realize what Riona's going
for, but Jamie knows this too as he throws an elbow behind him into Riona's
gut. Langly almost falls off the top from the elbow, which would
effectively end the match right there and then, but she keeps her balance and
sends a clubbing forearm right into the back of Jamie's neck. The two
trade blows on the top, but Riona gets the edge as Flynn's strength starts to
give out on him, with Riona's blows finally taking their toll. Riona
slips her arms under Jamie's and locks in the FULL NELSON! Jamie's eyes
shoot wide open as the pain and realization kicks in, but there's nothing that
can be done at this point as Riona pulls Jamie back up to his feet... AND
SWINGS OFF THE TOP ROPE, TURNING JAMIE AND DESTROYING HIM WITH THE NUCLEAR
DETONATOR!!!!
The
crowd, the announcers, and even referee John Martes is going insane as both
Riona and Jamie lie completely out of it on the mat. Finally, John
Martes feels no choice and begins to make the count... 1... 2.... 3.... 4....
5.... Riona starts to roll over... 6... 7... Riona gets to a knee as JAIME
grabs the bottom rope and starts to rise... 8... Riona gets to a vertical
position... 9... and Jamie manages to get up! The crowd is blowing the
roof off the Honda Center as both Riona and Jamie look at each other, respect
and hate mixed together in their eyes, and BEGIN TO UNLOAD ON EACH OTHER ONCE
AGAIN! Everyone's on their feet as Riona and Jamie pummel each other
with everything that's left in the tank, but Riona looks to have a bit more
there as she pushes Jamie back into the ropes and starts to wail on him with
knife-edge after knife-edge chop. Blood even starts to trickle out of
Jamie's chest from all the abuse it's taken in the match, and that just makes
Riona seemingly chop harder. After what seems like an eternity of
hearing nothing but the sound of hand on chest, Martes pulls Riona off of
Jamie to let him breath, but Riona is having none of that as she pushes John
out of the way and charges Jamie, who ducks down and sends Riona flying over
the top with a BAAAACK BODYDROP!!!! Riona rolls to her stomach from the
impact, and Jamie looks down at her with pity before dropping down and rolling
out of the ring himself. Slowly pulling Riona up, Jamie suddenly locks
her in a reverse Front Facelock, lifting her up for her very own BOMB DROPPER
REM...NO! Riona floats overtop and kicks Jamie in the back of the knee,
before going for the BDR herself! All the damage in the match, however,
has piled up on Riona and she can't lift him for the hold, so she drops to a
knee and yanks back with a Dragon Sleeper! However, Riona can't win the
match on the outside, and she certainly cannot win it when Jamie shows
incredible flexibility and boots her right in the face, causing her to drop
the hold. Jamie holds his neck tenderly as he gets to his feet, Riona
doing the same as the announcer comes over saying there are 4 minutes left on
the time limit.
Riona
starts to limp over as Jamie suddenly gets to his feet and smashes Riona with
one of her own stiff lariats! Jamie barely is able to stand at this
point as Riona gets up, the lariat being weakened by how tired they both are.
Jamie knocks Riona back down to the floor with a viscious knee to the
gut followed by a particularly nasty Curb Stomp. Jamie walks away from
Riona, looking to get back into the ring so the match can actually have a
winner, and climbs on the apron. He turns and looks at Riona, who is
down on her hands and knees and holding her throat and chest, but is still
getting back up. Taking a moment to look at the crowd, Jamie measures up
Riona as she gets up and charges her from the ring apron! Flynn flips
forward as he dives at Riona, but ends up slamming into the floor as Langly
quickly side steps him and leaves Flynn hurting nothing but himself. Turning
right back towards Jamie afterwards Riona sees Flynn sitting up, holding his
back in pain after that last move which cues Riona to hit Flynn with a nasty
stiff kick in the back! Flynn arches his back as Riona gets a measure of
revenge, screaming at him "IT DOESN'T FEEL VERY GOOD YOU SON OF A
BITCH!!!" She nails him again with another stiff kick and grins,
grabbing ahold of Jamie's hair and forcing him to sit before smashing another
stiff kick into his back. One more kick is all Riona takes at Flynn
before she lifts him up to his feet and grabs his injured right arm. She
takes a great deal of time positioning Flynn so his back is facing the ring
barricade, before whipping him right into it. The expression of anger.
intensity, and fustration that has been on Flynn's face fades away to one of
pain after this, but Riona isn't done yet as she goes right back over to Jamie
and grabs him by the arm again to whip him into the ring this time so Flynn's
back collides with the ring apron. With a satisfied smirk on her face Riona
taunts Jamie a bit before she grabs a head-full of hair and rams him in the
face with another nasty knee.
Jamie
slumps down against the ring, completely spent as Riona catches one last bit
of breath. She knows she only has 2 more minutes to finish Jamie off,
but she also realizes that after everything so far, she may not be able to do
anything outside of breaking his neck to beat him. She weakly tugs Jamie
back up to a vertical base and rolls him in before sliding in herself. She
doesn't hesitate to attack as she steps over Jamie and locks in a CAMEL
CLUTCH! Jamie's eyes shoot wide open as his jaw is pulled apart by the
classic submission, but he shakes his head no to Martes' questioning and grabs
ahold of the bottom rope to break the hold. Riona sighs and breaks,
pulling Jamie back up to his feet and immediately kicking him in the gut,
causing him to double over as she locks him in a standing head-scissors.
The crowd comes to life as Riona slings her arms out to the side and
screams "DEVOLUTION!!!!!" She goes to pull Jamie into the
Styles Driver '03, but Flynn shows a remarkable amount of strength and
BACKDROPS HER OVER THE TOP AGAIN! This time, Riona was able to grab
ahold of the top rope and pull herself onto the apron. Jamie turns
around and sees Riona standing there, and charges right into Riona's shoulder
as she ducks down under the top! Jamie stumbles backwards as Riona takes
a deep breath and SPRINGBOARDS OFF THE TOP ROPE!!! Flynn turns around...
AND RUNS RIGHT INTO A CORKSCREW DROPKICK! THE
PICTURE OF PERFECTION!!!! Jamie stumbles backwards as Riona lands
hard on her stomach from the move, and he gets his arms tangled in the ropes
on the other side! Riona rolls to her feet, hoping to see Jamie on the
mat, and screams as she sees him completely unconscious in the ropes. She
runs over, attempting to pull Jamie out of the ropes, her eyes frantic as she
knows that this is her chance, she can finally beat Jamie Flynn, fair, in the
middle of the...
* * * DING DING DING * *
*
Riona
drops to her knees, staring lifelessly at Jamie as the crowd comes to their
feet, giving a standing ovation so loud that you could barely hear Eric
Emerson over the crowd...
Eric Emerson:
"This match has gone on for the full sixty minute time limit, and
therefore, is considered A DRAW!!!!."
Riona
pounds the mat in absolute anguish and frustration as John Martes unties
Jamie Flynn from the ropes, the Anahiem crowd giving these two wrestlers a
huge ovation like none that has ever been heard. A chant of
"MATCH OF THE YEAR" starts to reverberate throughout the arena
as Martes holds both Riona and Flynn's hands up for the crowd to see, but
neither looks like a winner. Jamie looks out of the loop and dazed,
his eyes glassed over as he probably doesn't even know where he is, and
Riona looks to be almost in tears on her knees... But, the crowd still
cheers and chants as we fade... to... black...
