Welcome to another edition of the BoX Office. I am your narrator, author, and voice all in one... Joe BoXeR. It's been awhile since I've done my review for Rampage, and we have experienced two Rampage events in my absence. As some of you might know, I have signed a contract to wrestle on Chaos. Hey don't get mad, it would have been a conflict of interest to be wrestling and reviewing Rampage, don't you think? I don't like things complicated, I like it simple. So let's dive right into what happened on Rampage, September 5th.

General Manager Revealed!
- We start off Rampage with one of two General Managers. Just a quick review: Chamelion was removed as Rampage's Manager, but given the power as 'Overseer' of both brands. Thus the position needed to be filled, and the BOD wanted two co-managers. The first one to be announced as Rampage's co-GM: Eli Storm! I've worked with him before, back in my hayday as PWA Commissioner. Eli Storm ran Chaos very well, and I'm eager to see what he can do with Rampage.

This is your life, Robinson!
- Well, I was left speechless at the end of this segment. After one of two GM's were revealed, all of the Pantheon came down to the ring. Chamelion and Hunter spoke first, telling us that they wanted to show their appreciate for the Pantheon leader, The Phoenix. There was cake and much-needed glorification for the GWA Global Champion, since last week on Rampage Phoenix lost the tag titles. Each of the Pantheon members gave Phoenix a respective gift, a token of their appreciation for all of Phoenix's hard work as the leader of the most dominate PWA stable since Masters of Armageddon circa 2001, in my book. It seemed like all was well and the Pantheon was more united than ever, until Chamelion attacked Rob with the Sweet Sound of Success, Wilkie hit Rob with the Grade A Stunner, and Matt DDT'd Phoenix onto the World Championship replica belt that he gave him. Hunter Sullivan broke out onto his own and destroyed any 'protege to mentor' relationship him and Rob might have had, and Hunter cashed in his GWA Global Title shot which he earned at Rumble in the Bronx by eliminating the Phoenix. Hunter teases Rob and tells Wilkie and Orion to release him so he can fight him. Hunter disposes of him easily by nailing him with the Viper Kick. And to top it off - The Phoenix is now banned from Rampage! Certainly a sick, twisted turn of events here. I mean... I personally felt Phoenix's pain and anger last Wednesday on Chaos facing him in my return match. I didn't come out victorious, and that's okay. I wasn't expecting to. I've been out of the ring for a long time, but that won't happen again. All I can say is that I feel bad for Rob. Yes, he's done some terrible things, but he didn't deserve that. I'm sure Rob will be looking for some payback at Manitoba.

#1 - Meghan Nash Strader vs. Xannon Alexander
- Finally our first match! We witness the debut of Meghan Nash Strader on Rampage. However, her PWA debut came on Chaos' first show, September 2nd, when Meghan was victorious against Lacey Gloria in an inter-brand match. Or.. was it? I don't know, these kids change every week it seems like. Right now it looks like both Meghan and Lacey are Rampage exclusive, yet they fought each other on Chaos' first show. Regardless! Three days after her debut she had to fight Xannon Alexander, and it was a good opening match. It went back and forth several times, but in the end Meghan got the momentum and finished off Xannon with 'The God That Failed', her variation of a camel clutch.

Engel eggs Jethro to a new level!
- Matt came out to address his successful defense on August 29th against Mark Zout and to talk about his upcoming title defense at Manitoba Mayhem. It was revealed that same night that his title match would be against current Intercontinental Champion, Jethro Hayes, and that BOTH titles would be on the line. However, Engel couldn't share his own sentiment without Jethro saying a few words. Jethro wasn't booked that night because of the injuries he sustained from Engel on the 29th. There was some doubt surrounding Jethro's ability to wrestle any time soon, including Manitoba Mayhem. But after some deep, harsh words from both Engel and Hayes, Hayes revealed that he was cleared to wrestle on September 12th, and more importantly, for Manitoba Mayhem. Also.. Hayes admitted that if it was necessary to beat Engel, he would do whatever it takes. Has Engel successfully manipulated Hayes to betray his fans and his honor? Or is Hayes simply playing along to give Engel a sense of false hope?

#2 - Hard Hittin' & High Flyin' vs. The Renegade Souljahs
- This is our second match of the night, and while it was a short one, it was action-packed nonetheless. The debut of Hard Hittin' and High Flyin'  was an impressive one to say the least, but they couldn't topple the experience and talent that the Souljahs brought to the ring. After a devastating double-team move on Justin Moreno, Ross and Zout pick up another victory as the Souljahs. But I was impressed with H&H, and look for them to rise in the tag team division.

#3 - Orion vs. Riona Langly

- This was supposed to be our third match of the night, but it never happened. The participants couldn't come out because they were occupied with a Pantheon vs Apostles of Ares brawl backstage. Orion and Riona were going at it, and Engel and Ian were going at it. The match was scratched, and Rampage was forced to move on.

The Order of Chaos has a warning for Rampage!
- Simon Kalis and Masakazu interrupt Rampage for a moment to tell us that the warning has been given. These two men, along with new member Aeolus Wrath, make up the Order of Chaos, which has become the dominate stable over in the Chaos brand. But being the dominate stable in Chaos is like being the weak and inept stable on Rampage. See, while I don't care for the Pantheon, I also don't care for imitations. These guys claim they're the answer to Rampage's problems, but what happens if they succeed in overtaking the Pantheon's spot? They will be just like them. So I say get rid of both groups. Get rid of the Apostles. All of you are plagues on the PWA. But hey, I'm just a lowly columnist/wrestler... what do I know?

#3 - Tyson vs. Lacey Gloria
- This is our third official match of the evening. It was a short-lived match that saw Lacey taking care of business and finishing Tyson off with the Glory Gloria! However, would that have been the case if Chamelion hadn't gotten involved, talking to the referee about PWA business at the wrong time? We'll never know.

#4 - The Kumquat Kid vs. Pleasedontsueus
- We dive right into our official fourth match of the night, and this was also short-lived. We see return number 50 of Ryan Lewis, also known as the Kumquat Kid. He easily disposes of Pleasedontsueus. After the match, Raizzor and Chamelion come down to the ring. Raizzor shares a few words with KK, and KK leaves without question. Raizzor hits a Tombstone Shoulderbreaker on Pleasedontsueus, and Chamelion announces that Tyson and Pleasedontsueus will be facing the Krymson Dragons on Rampage, September 12th!

#5 - Marxx vs. 'The Show' Chad Kurtis
- I thought this was a fantastic match. It was Kurtis' debut in the PWA, and he took Marxx to his limits. He even beat Marxx! Sure, it wasn't a fair win due to Chamelion's distraction, but Chad delivered the CK Finale on Marxx and came out victorious in his debut match. This young man, who came over from Rebel-Pro, looks promising and if he keeps putting on displays of talent like he did here, he will rise to the top fairly quick.

The second new General Manager is...?
- Finally, the second General Manager is announced. It's none other than Mark McNasty, former PWA World, Intercontinental, and Television Champion. This rubbed Chamelion the wrong way, since these two have a history of never liking each other and never seeing eye to eye. After all, Chamelion was the one that fired Mark McNasty nearly a year ago.

The Warnings Increase
- Lestat and Ravyn increase their warnings to Chamelion. They definitely want payback for something I can't really understand. And that's fine, I don't think I'm supposed to understand. Will the payoff be good? Or will we be disappointed again with more mysterious revenge plots?

#6 - Alex Wilkie vs. Emperor Ian
- Our prelude to the main event features Pantheon member Alex Wilkie taking on Emperor Ian.. who is or isn't in the Apostles of Ares. I don't know. According to my sources, he has not jumped ship - yet! This was a really good match that could have gone either way. Both men had the advantage several times, and some big-time moves were pulled out of their respective hats to try to finish each other off for an important victory. However, Wilkie finishes off Ian and gets the win. He tries to make an example of Ian and destroy him, to show everyone what happens when you cross the Pantheon, but Ian managed to escape before Wilkie could get too crazy.

An offer?
- Tamika confronts Bubba before his match and tells him that if he wins tonight and beats Rampage's Champion, it could mean big things for him on Chaos.

#7 - Matthew Engel vs. Bubba J
- Our main event of the evening featured PWA World Champion taking on trash-talkin', chew-spittin', tough son of a gun Bubba J. It also marks the FIRST inter-brand match in PWA history! Engel, being the PWA Champion, is exclusive to Rampage. Bubba made his decision to be exclusive to Chaos, but due to the nature of the grudge between these two, a match was made on Rampage. The match started out great, and the advantage kept switching between sides. Bubba showed us that he wasn't just out there to win, but to punish Matt for what Matt did to Jethro. Bubba got his fair share of licks in, but Engel used his experience and skill to dish out some pain to Bubba. The match ended up spilling outside the ring, and the referee started his ten count. Engel had Bubba on the ground and he had a chance to get back into the ring and get an easy win, but you know what? I gotta applaud my brother on this one. He didn't take the easy way out. Instead, he went back to Bubba to dish out some more pain. Unfortunately, his rebellious and tough-guy act didn't pay off. Both men were counted out, which resulted in a draw, and Bubba hit Engel with the Trailer Park Trash, which sent Engel over the edge of the stage. Engel fell thirty or more feet, and was sent to the hospital on the account of Bubba J. Bubba got what he wanted, but Engel never backed down.

Bye Bye Bye
- After the PWA logo fades, the cameras pan backstage on Eli Storm. Chamelion and Hunter are seen walking close by, and Eli confronts them. Eli informs them that due to Hunter's certified contract for the GWA Global Title, which is an exclusive Chaos title, Hunter has been DRAFTED to Chaos! Chamelion tries to override, but Eli tells him that the deal was approved by both GM's of both shows, and also by the Board of Directors! Hunter is now exclusively Chaos! Now.. my only concern is what this will do to Rampage? Eli Storm gave Chaos a major PWA superstar, and the heat behind The Phoenix and Hunter Sullivan match at Manitoba Mayhem only got hotter! But, Eli Storm's diamond in the rough is definitely the biggest title match of the year - Matthew Engel versus Jethro Hayes. Which match will shine the most? How many titles are gonna change hands that night? Soon enough, we'll find out.

The Review
- Overall, this was a good card. We witnessed the first inter-brand match of the PWA, and even though we didn't get a winner, it was an exciting match nonetheless that continues to build up the main event at Manitoba Mayhem. However, I was a little disappointed that Eli Storm would so easily turn over Hunter Sullivan to Chaos. How much damage can this do to Rampage? Will Rampage still be considered the 'A' show after Manitoba Mayhem? There is so much going on riding into Manitoba.. that.. well, even though I'm not a fan, Radio Rich and I will be doing a co-review of Manitoba Mayhem. Yes, you read that right. Rich and I will collaborate on our reviews to give you the best column ever for the best event ever.

The Grade
- 8 out of 10 (Pros: great build-up to Manitoba, overall solid matches, and still so much going on backstage. I love it! Cons: a potentially awesome match was scratched, and the main event was a draw.)

The Crystal Ball
- We are going to put away the Crystal Ball this week. As I write this, Rampage on the 12th has already aired. It wouldn't be much good fortune-telling if I already knew what happened, would it? Haha. But DON'T you worry, fans, I am going to use my crystal ball on the ENTIRE Manitoba Mayhem card when I release BoX Office #5.

Epilogue
- Well there it is folks! This concludes my review for PWA Rampage. I'll be back next time to deliver you accurate and exceptional insight as the events of Rampage continue to unfold. We are getting closer and closer to Manitoba Mayhem, and from what I've heard, it's going to be a hell of a fight to get on the pay-per-view! The war between Rampage and Chaos continues this upcoming weekend!

Take care, sports fans!

Wrestler Spotlight
9/12/09

She is the eldest daughter of wrestling legend Scott Nash Strader, she is the older sister of Chaos General Manager Tamika Nash Strader, and it turns out: she knows how to fight! Meghan Nash Strader is in our Rampage spotlight this week. She made her debut on Wednesday Night Chaos, September 2nd, by defeating Apostle of Ares member Lacey Gloria. One would normally expect a cat fight and a lot of skin, but it was refreshing to see some good wrestling and an entertaining match. Meghan's next match was her first on Rampage - THREE DAYS LATER. She defeated Xannon Alexander, and scored another win for the Strader family. Is the sky the limit for this beautifully dangerous talent?
